Life Christian School has been the official home of Nerds Abroad for the past year. They allow us to use their space and explore different educational models in their classes and afterschool programs. They are located about 20 minute from downtown Portland, OR and the school has been serving the community for many years.

I also am a teacher at this school, teaching various subjects including business and technology to a wide age-range of students. It is an honor to work for a school that has such a strong focus on missional education, where we can use entrepreneurial and innovate tools and techniques to make powerful impacts in communities around the world. We just finished our ACSI and AdvancedEd accreditation, so now the school is fully accredited! All of the teachers at this school are also certified, most through both the State of Oregon and ACSI.

Over the past year, we have been working together to create the TechBox℠ curriculum. Both students and teachers have their input on our curriculum, and the administration have been increasingly supportive of our mission and vision. We are able to take successes in our classrooms and apply them to the TechBox℠ program development.
